Friendly greetings.
Our Association was established in 1941 and we continue to promote the benefits of a healthy bee population.
Our members come from the Antrim coastal area including Larne, Ballycarry, Whitehead, Carrickfergus, and Islandmagee.
Honey bees are often taken for granted, but on a global scale they are extremely important to us.

If you see a swarm ....
Three things:
1. Don't worry. Swarming bees have little or no interest in people. They are simply looking for a suitable place to establish a new colony. Therefore, a swarm of honeybees is not aggressive.
2. Are you sure they are Honeybees? Beekeepers will not remove Wasps, Hornets or Bumblebees.

3. If you see a resting swarm ... click here and send us your phone number so that a local beekeeper can contact you and come to remove them.
